  2. I'm tired of this shit. Ever since games like Superhot VR, Killing Floor Incursion, and Sairento VR, I've been waiting for the next step. Like okay, we know how to play VR games. There is a controller mapping template that works for the moves quite well. But where is the evolution? Superhot requires a level of thought and process I've yet to see done better in any other VR game except MAYBE Sairento. While I cant fault Superhot for anything other than the lack of DLC, Sairento quickly devolved into the same shit over and over. It needed at least 10 more enemy variations for its style of gameplay. Just… ugh. VR's not what I hoped it would be. Superhot and Sairento give me glimpses to what its like to feel like a Matrix warrior but lacks a certain something I'd find in a full budget AAA action game and I'm not talking about graphics. Borderlands 2 and Skyrim give me those things I'm wanting, not necessarily the open world but the open ended gameplay. I want VR to have a fresh game like that, something I haven't played that I can experience immersively. I really like playing with my hands as opposed to solely my fingers. It's something the Wii kind of failed at for me while PSVR delivers. But like a lot of wii games, VR feels gimmicky and this is one of those games. Doesnt try to be better than Arizona Sunshine and certainly isn't better than. Killing Floor. Just the same generic, 3 hour trash game with an unintuitive horde mode. I'm tired of this trash. Give us real games or just let VR die, I cant be alone in saying I'm tired of generic games that don't hold a candlestick to the interactivity we had in games since the 2000s. Cant even pistol whip a zombie in a VR game, just sad.

  4. I found this unplayable with the current control issues.. no crouch option, grabbing doesn't always work even with grab-assist on, getting items from your belt is very clumsy.. devs say this will all be patched so it's great that they are working on it, but I'm surprised you don't seem to have those issues. For the rest, great review as always.

  5. I’ve noticed when playing some games on the PSVR,:

    – I would have to stand up from my chair and press the Option Button and recalibrate

    – Sit back down in my chair so I am lower to the ground in-game so I am able to pick up the item on the ground

    – Recalibrate while sitting

    – Get back to the game.

It works but we shouldn’t have to go through that process. It takes away from the immersion.

  7. I was excited to play this game until i watched a live stream. 3 or 4 different looking zombies graphics look kinda cheesy and the controls are just horrific. Arizona is way better

  8. (To steal from Yahtzee Crowshaw) so if you liked Arizona Sunshine but thought "I'd be enjoying this game a lot more if it wasn't shit", then give it a go.

That's what I got from the review anyway.

  9. Looks like a Steam Greenlight asset flip. Very janky and unpolished looking game that seems to be only made decent by the aspect that it's in VR. I always say that if a game looks ropey and can't stand on its own merit as a flat game, then it just won't make a good game irrespective of it being VR. When you compare this to something like Saints and Sinners, that game looks like it was designed to be specifically for VR and with care and polish to it. Pity.

  10. Man I was so hyped for this…bought it yesterday..played after work and….shit…soooo buggy..way too many bugs..couldn't cock my shotguns 70% of the time..bullets don't even land where you aim your gun like the sights are fucked up..the control scheme is shit..I hate it. Sooo unnatural feeling to grab things..can't reposition yourself wo backpack popping up..the grab assist only works when it feels like it..I dropped what looked like a cluster of ammo for the sling shot under the table they were on and that was the end of those..couldn't grab them no matter what I tried to do..then they rolled into the far left back corner under table..bullshit…the graphics look pretty blurry..a pro patch is def needed…once the issues are fixed and pro patch added I think it will be a great game..but after an hour and still fumbling and swearing at it ever 5 seconds I had enough..I'd rate it a 3/10 until fixes and pro patch are added edit do not take my rating/review as "hate" I actually want to love this game..it has so much potential..and I hope the devs plan to address the issues I'm experiencing because this game has the groundwork to be a top 5 game but with the amount of frustrating issues its dam near unplayable for me..so I am very much looking forward to any updates we may see to come..had this game worked as it should and a little optimization to visuals I would have rated a 9/10 easy..but I need to be able to play it smoothly in order to truly enjoy it ~ Founder/Owner @ "PSVR Game Reviews ONLY" fb group

  11. Awesome paul!..I love how you do a "in depth" review…that separates you from the rest of the pack because you actually give comparisons of the game from each system it is released for.

  12. This game looks super shit. Physics are terrible. Feels like a bottom barrel steam clone. Resident evil is way way better. Very similar game but biohazard blows it clean out of the water. So glad I watched a review, before I wasted money.

  13. I heard this game might suck but it’s actually really great! I like how you can search and have to chamber a round in the guns after you reload. It make it very immersive. I like the backpack inventory. The places on the body to store weapons and ammo are well placed and are easy to grab
