Gun Club VR | PSVR Review

It’s the best shooting gallery we have on PlayStation VR with hundreds of customization options, but Gun Club VR doesn’t come without some serious issues too.

  1. Same problem I had 2 handed weapons hard to use an the tracking hard to get my camera right an the shooting range area you shoot paper targets seams really glitch at times but was a fun game even the gravity setting was awesome seeing stuff floating around

  2. Just bought the game from the indoor sale now for $12. This game is much better than it looks! I am not even a gun enthusiast and I am loving the gun handling, weapon customization as well as all the shooting experiences. Don’t be fooled by the “target shooting” look, this game is one of the deepest shooting game on PSVR. And from what I can remember with my limited gun range experience, this feels very realistic without being tedious. Five hours of play now, I shall continue.

  3. Like you said, this game is amazing for pistols, but the two-handed weapons really aren't great. You can get by just shooting the one-handed, but it's not nearly as engaging as it is with pistols. I love pistol shooting, though, and it really does the trick for a quick shooting fix.

  4. Bought psvr this weekend and i have ps4pro. First game i played was Ace combat 7 and i couldn't believe my eyes! I think i can't play games with my tv anymore it is so immersive!

  5. I put my camera about 1 1/2 feet above eye level and now the moves track perfect! Cant wait until they release the spray paint and sandbox firing range in future updates!

  6. does moving the camera higher also help with tracking issues on the aim controller? Just bought one and Farpoint, I really enjoy the game, but have been experiencing drift issues after playing for about a half hour each time

  7. This game looks like the developer 1. Totally gets games. 2. Saw an opportunity to fill a market gap with more realistic weapons. 3. Started with the hardest system first (the gun progression & gun feel). but then… ran out of money to make enemies.

  8. Love your reviews. The cardboard cut out look sucks imo but I'm still going to get it for just some pure clean arcade style fun. I'm addicted to xp bars and unlocking weapons. By the way, i suppose i missed it in your review, but is their movement or are you standing in place when shooting like time crisis?

  9. I cant believe money goes into games like this…. seems like such a waste of developers time when they could be making real game, or at another studio helping on better games instead of spending time on something that will be forgotten in a week

  10. You can do just about anything to the guns too. I have an mp5 with three different colored laser sights, a flashlight, two bayonets, a double drum mag, adjustable stock, foregrip and a partridge in a pear tree. Looks like a prop in a scifi movie.
