Transcript for TOP 5 Best VR Headsets 2020 Review

When looking into how far gaming has come over the past years, there’s no better benchmark than virtual reality. Virtual Reality is the latest gaming sensation that has really taken off in the last few years. And honestly, there’s some incredible products out there that take the game from being just in your hands to really immersing you in a full virtual world. But in the market today, there’s actually a ton of great virtual reality headsets out there, and some that are not so great. And it can be difficult to understand what you’re getting for the price point. But don’t worry, we’ve done a ton of research. And today, we’re gonna be breaking down five of the best VR headsets that you can buy, depending on your particular situation. And I’ll be breaking down each in depth in terms of features and benefits. And as always, I will include links to each of those down below. So you can check out any updated pricing and availability for any of them you might be interested in. And also if there are any special deals or discounts on any of them all include that in the description as well. So first, we have the overall best VR headset, and that is going to be the valve index. If you’re familiar with valve, you know they’re a beast in the gaming world, they’ve launched their gaming platform steam, as well as putting out some fantastic video games like half life Well, now they’re dipping their toe into the VR market with the valve index. And it is groundbreaking in so many ways. It has off your speakers that somehow sound both immersive and stay comfortably distant from your ear without any sound leakage. It also has an unrivaled dual 1440 by 1600 RGB LCD screen, and that’s fitted with a greater number of sub pixels than there am OLED alternatives. Also, with the valve index, you’re getting a larger field of view, and the display is capable of running up to 144 hertz. And that means that compared to any other VR on the market, you’re going to get greater sharpness, clarity and icomfort for longer periods. And not to mention the controllers are some of the best out there. If you’re looking for the absolute best VR headset, then look no further than the valve index. Now Next up, we have the Oculus quest, and this is the best standalone VR headset. And one of the things that has really prevented a lot of people from venturing into the VR market is the fact that you need a high powered computer or gaming console in order to run them. Well. The Oculus quest actually solves that problem. It is a full standalone device powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. So that means that all you need is the headset and nothing else. There’s no need to carry around a gaming console or a PC everywhere you go. That being said, if you do want to tether it to your PC, you do have that option and it allows you to access the full Oculus Rift s library. So basically, you’re getting two for the price of one. It also has some great specs with a dual 1440 by 1600 OLED LED screen, with a refresh rate of 72 hertz and a 90 degree field of view. Overall, if you’re looking for a great VR headset, and you don’t already have a gaming PC or a console, then this is definitely the option that you want to check out. Next up, we have the Oculus Rift s. And this is a great VR for those of you who may not be necessarily technologically minded, because it’s super easy to use and super easy to set up. This headset is super comfortable. It has insight tracking Touch controllers, and it is a great upgrade to the original Oculus Rift. It’ll have dual 1280 by 1440, fast switch LCD screens and an 80… Ran out of the 5k character limit, sorry guys

  2. These are great for VR, if you are just getting into the world of VR/AR and just be ready to apply your craft skills. I need to add some flanges to hold the phone inside of the case, just in case the strap is not available. I love the experience of Google Cardboard.

  3. This Quest 2 headset has exceeded my expectations. The tracking of Oculus works very well, the display is crisp, and it's by far the best bang for your VR buck at the moment. I've played it only for a couple of hours and I can report it delivers exactly as promised. Tracking is great, comfort is good, everything just works.

  4. All I can say is I love it for what it is damn good VR game play without all the cords. Is it worth it you ask. Well yes it is very well worth it for Valve and you are only limited to your play area or you can make it a massive play area you can play in with out all the cords or wires being attached to you and a pc, graphics are also amazing for it being a stand alone VR headset and I personally feel like its just going to get better.
