  1. Apologies for the weird mark on the front of the headset. I think it's paint (long story but my Nanoleaf lights fell off the wall nearby). Didn't realise until after 🙁 hope you enjoyed the video though!

  2. For a company that wants the every day joe to have a headset, dont really have good customer service. I had a really bad time when my controller played up on the rift CV1. Its a bit disappointing. But I hope when I buy this it wont happen again.

  3. Can you do an alvr on Oculus Quest visual gameplay compared to the Rift s. I think there should be better visuals on the Oculus Quest with alvr compared to the visuals on the Rift s.

    Please what do you think??????

  4. Question for everyone. I play most games sitting down (Fallout 4 VR for example). I'm 6'3" but since I'm sitting and the Rift S knows where my floor is, it makes me like 4' tall in game. any work around? Thanks.

  5. You've got a bit of jizz just on or below your right oggly-eye…just wanted to mention that. It's OK. Happens to the best of us…when we're playing…games..yea that's it's video games…in VR.

  6. Mate great job , I like your style with the review . Keep up the good work.
One question though , I play the golf club VR on steam with 3 oculus sensors ( hand go behind back when swinging )
How’s the tracking and will this work with this unit .
I love the oculus, I really do but would love to not have to move a sensor to my sim rig but I can’t have both because I don’t have enough ports and am not switching cables ( PSVR style )

I need to play golf as it the only game I really love .

    What’s your thoughts ?

  7. Love mine, I fact litterally only issues I have are the controllers…I don't like the hoop being at the top, preferred the old design ..I know they had to change it but issue is I'm 6ft 3 living in a house with average UK ceiling heights so I have hit the ceiling a couple of times already with the controller hoop being now at the top

Also more prone to hitting the front of the headset more now in certain games because of it too

  8. Okay, YOU LUCKY BASTARD. Only about half my games work well with the Rift S right now, with some of those not even able to launch with the headset. My playspace has been "lost" several times already when it didnt even give me the chance to launch the game and go into the center of my playspace! But yeah, setup is quick. And lastly, I definitely agree the headset and controllers feel and look very nice, but they both arent as easy to use as the rift. The controllers are a little harder to put down and pick up because of how far you have to turn them(also the wrist strap sucks), and the tracking IS subpar. You cant track below the headset, you cant track like youre holding a rifle well, and of course you cant track exactly behind you(which isnt a big deal buuuut) which would all go away with a couple of base stations. Who cares about admitting the subpar tracking? Its still out of the box fine, just not as great as they want to claim. Am I crazy? Are you seeing any of this?
