  1. Hey BFG, I came across this game recently when someone else was streaming the non-VR version of it and thought "I love driving, maybe this could work in VR?" So, Im happy to hear that with some work it can be done. That said, I put my wheel and pedals in storage because of this covid stuff, trying to keep my place clean and what not…. does this game work well with a controller? Also, are there different weather patterns, or is it primarily dry weather conditions?

Like you, I am not sure what it is about this game… but I feel compelled to try it out. Everyone seems to love it. Great review, and great channel. I am a new(ish) VR buyer, so I am looking for some good quality experiences. 🙂

  2. Just watched this video. Great job. I am going to be pulling the trigger on a VR system in the next couple of days. Just wanted to know if you think Oculus quest is my best bet, for PC. Thanks.

  3. Hey I know Ats officially doesn't support VR and you have to start with command in steam and choose from beta tab VR something …now what's with the updates? is this game in VR mode get updates like a normal version or doesn't get any updates at all.

  4. I just bought this game. The graphics looked amazing and with COVID-19 keeping my indoors, I thought it would be fun to tour all the states in the game (SLC native here, so I'm familiar with many of these roads from actually driving them). You have inspired me to take it the next step and get it working in my Oculus Rift. Thanks for your video review!

  5. I bought this game like 2 years ago but never bothered to install it and play it….until now!!! and WOW!! this caught me off guard as one of my favorite games.

  6. Hey Rob, nice to see your reviewing my 3rd favorite VR driving game. Im sure your using your wheel and shifter, but I wonder if you tried it with the DOF H6, apparently you can get it to work with the game using SimTool but you need to buy a license. It would be really cool to see some videos of you playing ATS in the H6 and also I would suggest looking into a splitter knob on your shifter for trucking if you do manual driving with a 10 or 18 speed. I got my self a real eaton split knob from techaffliction before they went out of business, but there is this one I found on amazon, just not sure what kind of shifter you have. This ones for logitech and thrustmaster shifter
there are also a lot of DIY videos on youtube for making splitter knobs and its the best thing to make ATS even more immersive. I wouldnt play without one now and i feel like a real trucker. Also if you havent thought of it yet, use your hotas for controls like trailer attachment or beacon lights is a great idea if u run out of things on your wheel.
I hope to purchase my H6 in a month and try out all the great simulations I play, including ATS VR.
Keep up the great work on the VR review videos! You should do a review on Derail Valley. Its an amazing VR train simulator thats still in early access but is comming out with their next big update called overhauled in april, and yes you can derail the train, hence the name but very calming game to play like ATS… till you derail going to fast around a bend lol, here it is Enjoy

  7. My rift s keeps crashing when I try to run it. I get it going then press F11 and it will come on sometimes but only for a couple minutes before like glitching and going black with a red light on the headset. Any advice?

  8. This is a great game, I have played this for 500 hours and most of those in Multiplayer! VR is only available in Singleplayer so I will usually play without it. Also from my experience the graphics weren't too heavy on max settings unless I started to record or stream. Lots to do plenty of roads to drive all of which I have 100% explored with all of the extra state DLC's. Also everyone should note that this game goes on sale every other2 or 3 months for 75% off and all of the DLC's go on sale from new DLC (low sale) to old DLC (high sale)

  9. Yeah dude just started getting back into it in VR after about a year. Having trouble with not knowing what to do next in the "base building " portion of the game basically everything outside of the driving lol
