These are real reviews about WARN 103253 VR EVO 10-S Electric 12V DC Winch with Synthetic Rope: 3/8″ Diameter x 90′ Length, 5 Ton (10,000 lb) Pulling C… from customers who has bought this product that share their experiences so you can make the best buying decision.

Looks great. Very well built. Love the wireless feature on the control.
Fits perfectly & works great. Fairly easy install if you review install videos online. I used the Warn winch mounting plate. Highly recommend
I was seriously in a pickle on choosing a winch. After calling Warn and speaking with their customer service guy, I chose the VR Evo.
It is built in China to Warns specs, but has the same lifetime warranty on mechanical and 7 years on electrical as all Warns do. If I had 1,500 bucks laying around and I went wheeling a ton, Id have got the Deon.
This was 1/3 the price. We shall see how it does. I will update my review if I ever have a problem with it. I will say the winch did come with marks on it from damage during shipping, but appead to be cosmetic only (shown in the photos).Update!
INSTALL THE GROUND CABLE TO THE WINCH BEFORE MOUNTING TO THE WINCH PLATE!!! I did not do this and have lost the nut in the body of the winch and am not able to retrieve it.
There is no room to see or get your hands in back there to find it. Infuriating to say the least although my fault. Also, not a huge deal, but the cable was bound on the spool at time of install.
I had to hook the cable to my truck to get it free. Once I was able to unspool the bound cable, all seems fine.LAST UPDATE!!! I had to remove the winch, bumper, and winch motor cover due to that stupid ground wire nut falling INSIDE THE CASE!!!
Once I recovered the nut I put the winch motor cover back on, installed the ground wire, and reinstalled the winch and bumper. Not impressed about it at all, but not blaming Warn.
Although I do wish they had shipped the damn ground wire installed like the rest of the wires on the winch or at least advised installation of that wire BEFORE installing on winch plate and in bumper.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas! He absolutely loves it!!!!!
