  1. I was 11 when I first played Myst back in school. It will be cool to see this finally in VR. It was the best selling game for years till the Sims knocked it from that spot and it was Myst that gave the computer game industry the kick it needed in the mid 90s to change the paradigm of gaming moving into the modern gaming era. As to the game being hard, well it is meant to be a challenge. What use is a puzzle adventure game if you are done in 20 minutes? If my class back then managed to enjoy and solve Myst at age 10/11 then… well IDK what to say about the thinking that its 'too hard' a game to play now?!?!

  2. I've waited 27 years for this. Played the original Myst. Now we can finally be in it. Can't wait to open up the Oculus Quest 2 on Christmas Eve. Been playing RealMyst on the PC to tide me over. Have a lot of screenshots on my phone for the puzzles I've solved so far. Can't find the original notebook from years ago. Yes, they included a notebook when you bought the original game. Guess I'll have to glance down my phone for now, until the devs add some kind of notetaking inside the game. I'm stuck in Stoneship right now, maybe in the Quest version I find better clues. Fingers crossed. As the original title claimed, Myst is the surrealistic adventure that will become your World.

  3. Bro. You say you'll try to keep the review portion free of spoilers, and begin with a summary of the plot. You show and name all the worlds. As someone who's never played, I feel moderately spoiled.
