I personally love the Yellow with tan interior
What in Christ name happened to Mitsubishi?
Fast for such a heavy car.
This must have been the year they switched to projector headlights
This car would run good in the GridLife street stock time attack class racing series. With Evos and STIs
320hp in a car the size of a Accord. Beast!!
The 90's was a special time like no other in Automotive history with some decent tech & didn't have the emissions regs and less restrictions which is why we have masterpieces like this, the McLaren F1, Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari Testarossa, F50, Supra, Skyline, Mazda Cosmo, 300zx etc Change my mind…
4.9 seconds in 94 w/AWD. This car was a beast.
Love my VR4 so much, glad I got rid of the notoriously bad 6g72 engine and went with a 4g63 from an Eclipse. Much faster now, better aftermarket and WAY more reliable!
What a beast of a car, even 20+ years later. Those were different times unfortunately and I doubt we'll ever see cars made with soul and passion ever again.
Before the Lancer daysThere was 3000GT or GTO which has some killer acceleration plus it's 4WD and don't forget it has Twin Turbo version!
Faster than the Supra.
These cars just look so damn cool, I’d be happy if I can even have the base version. Might not be as fast as the twin turbo but it’ll look just as cool.
Finally a guy shifting the manual who didn't do a line of blow 5 minutes before filming
The car was also known as the Mitsubishi GTO.
Even after 26 years later the car still looks handsome.
I graduated High School in 1995 and this is the car every kid wanted at the time.
Now the best product Mitsubishi makes…is a damn HVAC unit. Their vehicles are garbage now.
Twenty five years later and Mitsubishi’s most powerful vehicle for sale in the US has about half as much power and ZERO of the appeal.
style quality and safety
holy shit with a car like this back then, you wonder what happened to mitusbish and for that matter just cars in general.
Love the 94-99 models, especially the 97-98 with the big wing
Too sad how Mitsubishi is today … look how great they once were ..
My uncle offered to sell me his same-year 3000GT for what I thought was a good deal. However, it wasn't my style, so I declined. No regrets, as my Studebaker's really awesome, but that I can see why certain people like these Japanese GTs so much.
Mitsubishi made good cars such as the Eclipse, Galant, 3000GT, & Lancer (including the EVO). What the hell happened to them?!!!! They ain't got nothing in their lineup now, & it's surprising they're still in the USA.
Gosh we were spoiled back in the day and probably didn't realize it at the time. Not sure Mitsubishi could produce a car like the 3000-GT/GTO today?
This car is still hot
No kidding, these guys were way ahead of the curve! I also miss the Mitsubishi Mighty Max!!
What happened to Mitsubishi? 🤔😕
this car is awesome!! really beautiful
What a great car, looks awesome, so much power….Imagine a new 4000GT VR4!
Thing thing was one of the hottest sports cars back in the day. I remembered dreaming of one in high school. $40k was a ton of money back then. My new 2020 Camaro LT1 w/ a 455hp 6.2L V8 has a lower MSRP than this did 26 years ago. That's nuts! Also, Mitsubishi really needs to come out with an all-new 3000GT and Eclispe coupe/convertible. It would really boost their brand.
